Exploration for Mineral Resources in Rwanda Continues
Detailed Survey of Three New Potential Target Areas Started

23rd July 2014, Kigali (Rwanda)

In cooperation with the Council for Geoscience (CGS), Beak Consultants GmbH will carry out another extensive project to explore mineral deposits in Rwanda in the next 12 months. The official starting signal was given during the kick off meeting in Kigali (Rwanda) being held on 23rd July 2014. The detailed surveys intend to explore new mineral findings within three delineated potential target areas and by this to provide a valuable basis for the further successful development of this country. The goal of the project is to find metals such as tin, tungsten, niobium, tantalum, lithium, gold and rare earths. The research programme combines classic methods of prospection with modern methods of data interpretation. The scientists hope to have success with the comprehensive evaluation of geochemical, geological and geophysical data. This will be done with the software advangeo® Prediction Software, which was developed by Beak. It uses the technology of artificial neural networks and offers new possibilities for the targeting of mineral deposits.
