The DAAD-funded GOAL Seminar “Geo-Risk Management – A German-Latinamerican Approach” at the Rupprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg is the event for exchange of a recent geo-risk management research between Latinamerican and German geoscientists and geoengineers covering topics like earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides, volcanic eruptions, lahars, climatic change, extreme weather conditions and water contamination. Andreas Knobloch will give a talk about “Prediction of rainfall-generated soil erosion processes with artificial neural networks and GIS using advangeo®”.
