17. Geokinematischer Tag
Beak to hold lecture about temporal and spatial prediction of lignite mining waste rock pile stability in Northern Lusatia

12th - 13th May 2016, Freiberg (Germany)

From 12th until 13th May 2016, the “17. Geokinematischer Tag” will take place in Freiberg / Germany at the “Alte Mensa”. During the symposium, which is organised by the Institute for Mine Surveying and Geodesy of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, the latest developments in mine surveying and related fields will be presented and discussed – e.g. remote sensing, modelling and geostatistical analysis.

On Thursday, 12th May 2016, at 4:20 p.m., Beak Consultants GmbH in cooperation with the Lausitzer und Mitteldeutsche Bergbau-Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH (LMBV mbH) will present the results of temporal and spatial prediction of lignite mining waste rock pile stability in Northern Lusatia, which was modelled using artificial neural networks (advangeo® Prediction Software).
