As part of a collaboration between the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg / Germany and Beak Consultants GmbH, Mr Andreas Knobloch presented a probability map describing the occurrence of coal fires in China modeled with advangeo®. This map can now be used to indentify endangered areas and to plan preventative measures for the protection of the landscape on a regional (provincial) scale in China.
