Beak to hold plenary lecture about importance of mineral predictive maps

14th – 19th October 2013, Dresden (Germany)

From 14th to 19th October 2013, the 22nd International Conference on Mine Planning and Equipment Selection (MPES) will take place in Dresden/Germany. You are invited to visit us at our booth!

Beak, together with the Geological Survey Department of Ghana (GSD) and the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology (TU BAF), will present the results of a research project directed towards the identification of gold exploration targets in the famous gold belts of SW-Ghana. Dr Andreas Barth will describe the applied predictive mapping methodology and draw a range of conclusions regarding investment attraction, optimisation of exploration activities, improvement of land use planning, and guidance of small and artisanal mining. The presentation is scheduled for the plenary session on 15th October 2013, at 12:00 p.m.
