Beak presents at Global Geospatial Conference - GSDI 14 / AfricaGIS 2013

4th – 8th November 2013, Addis Ababa (Ethiopia)

The GSDI 14 World and AfricaGIS 2013 Conference will take place at the UNECA Conference Center in Addis Abbaba / Ethiopia from 4th until 8th November 2013. The AfricaGIS Conference is the largest regularly occurring GIS conference in Africa with participants from the entire continent. The GSDI World Conference has built a reputation for excellence in content and moves across the globe to offer geospatial specialists in all parts of the world opportunities to better exchange ideas and learn from global peers in building spatial data infrastructure.

Meet Beak Consultants GmbH at booth #41!

Beak, together with the Geological Survey Department of Ghana (GSD) and the Rwanda Natural Resources Authority (RNRA), will present the results of mineral predictive modelling with advangeo® Prediction Software in SW-Ghana, respectively Rwanda. The presentation “Mineral Prospectivity Evaluation by Artificial Neural Networks and GIS – Methodology, Case Studies, Experiences” is scheduled for session 1.5 on Monday, 4th November 2013, between 2 and 3:30 p.m. in the Small Briefing Room.

In addition, Beak will provide an project overview of the African-European Georesources Observation System (AEGOS). The presentation “AEGOS – The Spatial Data Infrastructure for Georesources in Africa” will take place during session 5.2 on Wednesday, 6th November 2013, between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Conference Room 3.
